Jeff Hon Joins Bank of the West’s Regional Commercial Banking Office

BOISE , ID – April 21, 2008 – Veteran banker and long-time Treasure Valley resident Jeff Hon has joined Bank of the West as Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the bank’s Regional Commercial Banking office in Idaho, the $62 billion-asset Bank of the West announced today.
Hon is responsible for developing and servicing the portfolio of clients in Idaho with annual revenues greater than $10 million.
Hon is a long-time Treasure Valley resident with more than 12 years of commercial banking experience and was most recently the president of Hon Contractors, a commercial construction contractor located in the Treasure Valley.
“Jeff is a highly experienced commercial banker, and the right person to help expand Bank of the West’s presence in Idaho,” said Mark T. Houston, Bank of the West Vice President and Regional Manager. “He has both strong marketing and credit skills, and he is very well-connected in the regional business community.”
A graduate of Boise State University, Jeff holds a B.B.A. in General Business with an emphasis in Finance. Jeff has served the community in numerous capacities including as a loan committee member of the local SBA certified development company for 504 lending and as past President of the Lewiston Jaycees.
